शब्द	अर्थ
ADC	Analogue-to-digital converter। Analogue audio को digital audio में बदलता है।
Buffer size	Audio आगे भेजे जाने से पहले processing के लिए रखे जाने वाले audio samples की संख्या। Lower values latency कम करते हैं लेकिन processing demand बढ़ाते हैं।
DAC	Digital-to-analogue converter। Outputs के लिए digital audio को analogue audio में बदलता है।
DAW	Digital Audio Workstation: audio record, edit और mix करने के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाला software।
dB	Decibel, level या level difference व्यक्त करने के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाली unit।
dBFS	Digital full scale के सापेक्ष decibels। 0 dBFS maximum digital level है।
dBu	0.775 V RMS के reference वाला analogue audio-level unit।
DI	Direct/instrument input। iD4 MKII पर यह फ्रंट पैनल JFET instrument input है।
JFET	Junction Field Effect Transistor। iD4 MKII instrument input में इस्तेमाल होने वाला input-stage type।
Latency	Audio convert, buffer या process होने के दौरान आने वाली delay।
Loopback	iD4 MKII/computer playback audio को वापस recording या streaming application में route करना।
Monitor Mix	iD4 MKII के direct input signals को DAW playback के साथ blend करने वाला hardware control।
Phantom power	Connected microphone को आवश्यकता होने पर XLR microphone connection के माध्यम से दिया जाने वाला DC power।
ScrollControl	iD4 MKII mode जिसमें main encoder compatible software controls के लिए virtual scroll wheel की तरह काम करता है।
TRS	Tip-ring-sleeve connector। Socket के अनुसार balanced line connections या stereo headphone connections के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।
USB	Universal Serial Bus। iD4 MKII host device के साथ power और audio communication के लिए USB इस्तेमाल करता है।
XLR	Balanced microphone connections के लिए आम तौर पर इस्तेमाल होने वाला three-pin connector।
