Safety & Compliance
Read and keep these instructions before connecting the mains IEC cable or powering ASP880. Follow all instructions printed on the rear of the unit.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
ASP880 contains no user-serviceable parts inside the internal power supply. If the power supply fails, contact Audient Support to arrange suitable service. Do not attempt to tamper with the power supply or mains voltages; doing so is hazardous to health.
Rack installation and ventilation
A 1RU ventilation space above the unit is recommended. Do not run ASP880 in a rack above hot equipment, such as valve outboard equipment or multichannel AD/DA converters, without suitable ventilation space around the unit.
Mains power
The internal switch-mode power supply accepts AC line voltages from 90 to 264 V at 47–63 Hz without reconfiguration. Use an appropriate regional IEC mains cable and ensure the local mains supply is within this range. Consult a qualified technician if you are unsure.
The rear-panel mains safety fuse is a T1A time-delay type. Always replace it with the same type.
