Firmware Updates

Audient may release firmware updates for EVO 4 to maintain compatibility and add or improve functionality.

Use the EVO application to check whether an update is available.

Check for an update​

  1. Connect EVO 4 to your computer.
  2. Make sure the computer has an internet connection.
  3. Open the EVO application menu.
  4. Select Check for Updates.
  5. If a firmware update is available, follow the on-screen prompt to install it.
caution

Switch off any connected speakers before starting a firmware update.

During the update, EVO 4 may restart several times. Allow the update process to complete.

After the update​

When the update has completed:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable from EVO 4.
  2. Wait a couple of seconds.
  3. Reconnect the USB cable.

EVO 4 will restart with the updated firmware.

If you cannot check for updates​

The normal update process requires an internet connection. If you cannot connect the computer to the update service, contact Audient Support for assistance.
