| ARC | Audient Resource Centre। Software और product रिसोर्सेज़ access करने के लिए उपयोग की जाने वाली Audient account और product-registration सर्विस। |
| ASIO | Audio Stream Input/Output। EVO 4 के साथ recording applications द्वारा उपयोग किया जाने वाला Windows low-latency audio-driver system। |
| Buffer size | Processing के दौरान computer audio driver द्वारा hold किए जाने वाले audio की मात्रा। छोटे buffers software-monitoring latency कम करते हैं लेकिन अधिक processing performance की आवश्यकता होती है। |
| Control Knob | EVO 4 का central rotary control। Selected input, output या monitoring control के अनुसार इसका function बदलता है। |
| DAC | Digital-to-analogue converter। Computer से digital audio को monitor और headphone outputs के लिए analogue signal में convert करता है। |
| DAW | Digital Audio Workstation। Audio record, edit, mix या playback करने के लिए software। |
| dB | Decibel। Audio level में changes या ratios व्यक्त करने के लिए unit। |
| dBFS | Digital full scale के relative decibels। Digital audio system में 0 dBFS maximum level है। |
| dBu | Voltage-referenced audio level जहाँ 0 dBu, 0.775 Vrms के बराबर है। |
| DI / instrument input | Electric guitar या bass जैसे instruments को सीधे EVO 4 से connect करने के लिए high-impedance input। EVO 4 पर front instrument input connect करने से rear input 1 override हो जाता है। |
| Gain | Digital audio में conversion से पहले input signal पर लागू amplification की मात्रा। |
| JFET | Junction Field Effect Transistor। EVO 4 high-impedance instruments के लिए JFET instrument-input stage का उपयोग करता है। |
| Latency | Audio signal के system में enter या generate होने और output पर सुनाई देने के बीच delay। |
| Loopback | Internal routing जो computer playback और EVO 4 inputs को combine करके recording या streaming software के सामने stereo input के रूप में present करने देता है। |
| Monitor Mix | Live input signals और computer playback के बीच EVO 4 का direct-monitoring balance। |
| Monitor Pan | Directly monitored EVO 4 inputs को left-right monitor mix में position करता है। |
| Phantom power / 48 V | XLR microphone connection के जरिए उन microphones को भेजी जाने वाली DC power जिन्हें इसकी आवश्यकता होती है, आम तौर पर condenser microphones। Enable करने से पहले microphone documentation जाँचें। |
| Sample rate | हर second लिए जाने वाले digital audio samples की संख्या। EVO 4 96 kHz तक sample rates support करता है। |
| Smartgain | EVO का automatic gain-setting feature। Perform करते समय चुना हुआ input signals analyse करता है और input gain अपने-आप set करता है। |
| SmartMuting | EVO 4 behaviour जो headphones connect होने पर monitor outputs अपने-आप mute करता है। |
