EVO 8 Manual

EVO 8 is a 4-input, 4-output USB audio interface with four EVO microphone preamps, Smartgain, a JFET instrument input, two stereo speaker-output pairs, two headphone outputs, a low-latency software mixer and audio loopback.

Controls at a glance​

Smartgain​

Smartgain automatically analyses the selected input signals and sets their input gain. EVO 8 can set multiple inputs during the same Smartgain process.

Input buttons 1–4​

Use the numbered buttons to select an input for gain adjustment, phantom power, Smartgain or muting.

48 V phantom power​

Use the 48V button to provide phantom power to a selected microphone input when the connected microphone requires it.

Control knob​

The central Control Knob adjusts the selected input gain or output level.

Output Volume buttons​

Use Output Volume button 1 to control speaker outputs 1+2 or headphone output 1. Use Output Volume button 2 to control speaker outputs 3+4 or headphone output 2.
