Block Diagram

The source-manual diagram shows the complete signal flow. Channels 1 and 2 include the instrument input, polarity reverse, HMX and IRON stages. Channels 3–8 use the standard microphone/line path without the D.I., polarity or RETRO stages.

All eight channels feed the ground-sensing balanced analogue outputs and the built-in Burr-Brown PCM4204 ADC. The ADC feeds the signal/peak metering and ADAT SMUX outputs.
