Stereo Inputs and Subgroups
Stereo Inputs
The four Stereo Inputs provide additional return paths for effects, samplers or other line-level sources without using a full main channel.
Each Stereo Input provides:
- Record-bus routing switches with SHIFT for buses 9–16
- F/B A and F/B B sends to the Foldback system
- Input TRIM of +/-20 dB
- Rotary FADER
- MIX assignment to the stereo bus
- SOLO using the currently selected solo mode
- CUT
Because the Stereo Inputs can be routed to the record buses as well as the stereo Mix, returned effects may be recorded if required.
Subgroups and Line Inputs 17–24
Buses 1–8 also feed eight subgroup paths in parallel. Each subgroup provides pan, Mix assignment, Solo, Cut, a fader and an insert point.
- PAN positions the subgroup across the stereo Mix bus.
- MIX assigns the subgroup to the stereo Mix bus.
- SOLO auditions the subgroup using the selected solo mode.
- CUT mutes the subgroup.
The eight subgroup faders sit in the centre section. Each provides a normal 0 dB operating point and up to +10 dB of gain.
The subgroup insert returns also function as Line Inputs 17–24. When a return is being used as a subgroup insert return, it is not simultaneously available as the corresponding additional line input.
