Oscillator, Solo and Compressor

Oscillator and master Solo controls

ASP4816 Classic oscillator and master solo controls

The oscillator provides four test frequencies: 40 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz and 15 kHz. It can be routed directly to buses 1–16 or to the stereo Mix bus, with an adjustable output level.

Switch the oscillator OFF during normal console operation when it is not required.

The same section contains the master solo controls:

  • SOLO LEVEL - sets the monitor level of the solo bus.
  • SOLO IN FRONT - adjusts the solo-to-Mix balance.
  • SIP - selects Solo in Place.
  • PFL/AFL - selects the non-SIP solo point.

Stereo bus compressor

The compressor is inserted in the stereo Mix path after the Mix insert point and before the Master Fader.
