EVO SP8 front panel

Analogue inputs​

EVO SP8 provides eight mic/line inputs on combination XLR/TRS connectors.

  • Inputs 1–2 are on the front panel.
  • Inputs 3–8 are on the rear panel.
  • Connect microphones using XLR.
  • Connect balanced line-level sources using ¼-inch TRS.
  • Inputs 1 and 2 can also operate as JFET instrument inputs.

Analogue line outputs​

Eight balanced ¼-inch TRS line outputs are provided on the rear panel. Their source is selected in the Setup Menu as either Analogue or Digital.

ADAT optical I/O​

EVO SP8 provides two optical ADAT inputs and two optical ADAT outputs for multi-channel digital audio.

Word Clock Input​

The rear BNC Word Clock Input allows EVO SP8 to synchronise to an external word-clock source. EVO SP8 does not provide a word-clock output.

USB-C​

The rear USB-C port is labelled For Updates Only and is used for firmware updating with Audient DFU.

Power​

Connect EVO SP8 to mains power through its IEC mains inlet.
