Controls at a glance
Input buttons 1–8
Use the numbered input buttons to select a channel for gain adjustment and access input functions such as muting, phantom power and instrument mode where available.
Smartgain
Smartgain analyses the selected analogue input signals and automatically sets their input gain. EVO 16 can analyse multiple channels during the same Smartgain process, or all eight analogue inputs at once.
48 V phantom power
Use the 48V button to provide phantom power to a selected microphone input when the connected microphone requires it.
Control Wheel and Motion UI
The Control Wheel works with the EVO 16 display to adjust the currently selected parameter. The Motion UI provides visual feedback for input gain, output level, metering and hardware settings.
Speaker and headphone controls
The Speaker button controls the main monitor output level by default. Headphone buttons 1 and 2 provide independent control of the two headphone outputs.
Function button
The programmable F button can be assigned to a monitoring function such as Dim, Alt Speakers, Talkback or Mono.
