Front panel controls
For an annotated view of the front panel, see Hardware and Connections.
The front panel provides quick access to Favourite Profiles, DSP bypass, standby and factory reset. It also shows the selected Profile and signal status.
Active profile indicators
The four numbered indicators show which Favourite Profile is currently selected.
Selecting a favourite profile
Tap the Profile button to cycle through the available Favourite Profiles.
If fewer than four Favourite Profiles are stored, the button cycles only through the available Profiles.
See Profiles for information about assigning Favourite Profiles.
Bypassing DSP processing
Press and hold the Profile button for 3 seconds.
The illuminated ring around the Profile button flashes to show that DSP processing is bypassed.
Tap the Profile button once to exit bypass mode.
Standby mode
Press and hold the Profile button for 6 seconds to place ORIA Mini in standby.
Tap the Profile button once to exit standby.
Factory reset
A factory reset permanently removes all Profiles stored on ORIA Mini.
To reset ORIA Mini:
- Disconnect ORIA Mini from power.
- Press and hold the Profile button while reconnecting power.
- Continue holding the button until the Profile indicators flash.
- Release the button.
- Press and hold the Profile button again.
- Wait while all LEDs illuminate and then switch off.
The reset is complete when the LEDs have switched off.
Signal indicator
The Signal indicator illuminates when ORIA Mini receives a suitable signal from the selected input.
If audio is playing but the indicator does not illuminate:
- Check that the correct Line or S/PDIF source is selected in ORIA Control.
- Check the connection between the audio source and ORIA Mini.
Peak indicator
The Peak indicator illuminates when a peak is detected at the input or output of ORIA Mini.
Input peak
The maximum analogue input level is +18 dBu.
Reduce the output level of the connected source if the ORIA Mini input is peaking.
Output peak
Output peaks may be caused by calibration EQ settings that add a large amount of gain.
If substantial correction is required, consider adjusting the speaker positions or improving the acoustic treatment before recalibrating.
