Manual calibration

ORIA Mini can be calibrated manually using third-party room-measurement software.

Use the supplied Sonarworks measurement microphone or another suitable reference microphone to measure your listening environment.

Before you begin

ORIA Mini does not include a microphone input.

Connect the measurement microphone to a suitable microphone input, such as the microphone input on the audio interface feeding ORIA Mini.

When using a subwoofer, set the required crossover frequency in ORIA Control before measuring the room.

important

Changing the crossover after measuring the room changes the response of the system.

Re-measure the system after changing the crossover frequency.

Measuring the system

Follow the instructions provided with your chosen measurement software.

The measurement results should provide the information needed to calibrate each speaker, such as:

  • EQ settings
  • Output Trim
  • Delay

Third-party calibration settings cannot be imported directly into ORIA Mini. Enter the settings manually in ORIA Control.

Creating a manual profile

  1. Create a new Profile in ORIA Control.
  2. Select the left speaker in the Room view.
  3. Select Setup.
  4. Enter the calibration settings provided by the measurement software.
  5. Repeat the process for the right speaker.
  6. Enter any required Subwoofer calibration settings.
  7. Save the changes to the Profile.
