Routing and Auxiliaries
The routing section normally takes the signal from the SF path and assigns it to the 16 record buses. Buses 1–8 also feed the corresponding eight subgroup paths.
Record-bus routing
| Control | Function |
|---|---|
| Routing buttons | Select buses 1–8; buses 1–8 also feed Subgroups 1–8 |
| SHIFT | Changes the routing buttons to buses 9–16 |
| PAN | Allows panning across selected odd/even bus pairs |
| LF | Feeds the routing matrix from the LF path instead of the normal SF path |
With LF and PAN engaged, the post-fader, post-pan LF signal can be distributed across selected odd/even record-bus pairs.
Aux and Cue sends
ASP4816-SE provides eight send outputs in total: six Aux sends (1–6) and two Cue sends (A and B).
Aux 1–6 are arranged in three pairs: 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6. Each pair can be sourced from either the LF or SF path and selected pre- or post-fader.
| Control | Function |
|---|---|
| LEVEL | Sets the channel send level |
| SF | Selects the SF path for the associated Aux pair, or individually for Cue A/B |
| PRE | Selects pre-fader operation for the associated send |
| Cue A/B | Dedicated cue sends, primarily intended for artist foldback |
Cue A and Cue B can also be used as additional effects sends when required.
