Subgroups
Multitrack buses 1–8 also feed the eight subgroup paths. Subgroups can combine several channels under one fader for mixdown and can be processed through their own insert points.
Controls
- PAN positions the subgroup in the stereo Mix Bus.
- MIX routes the subgroup to the stereo Mix Bus.
- SOLO isolates the selected subgroup(s).
- CUT mutes the subgroup.
- FADER controls subgroup level from off to approximately +10 dB.
Each subgroup has an insert send and return on the rear panel or optional patchbay. This allows a processor to act on the whole subgroup rather than individual source channels.
The subgroup insert return can also be used as an additional line-level input to the Mix Bus when required.
