Integration Port and Master Meters
Integration Port
The rear-panel Integration Port provides audio and control connections for integrating an external monitor controller.
The DB25 uses a Tascam-standard pinout. Channel assignment is:
| Channel | Output |
|---|---|
| 1 | Control Room Output Left |
| 2 | Control Room Output Right |
| 3 | Guide Track Output Left |
| 4 | Guide Track Output Right |
| 5 | Remote DIM DC |
| 6 | Remote SOLO DC |
| 7 | Not used |
| 8 | Not used |
The stereo Guide Track is fed from Aux 5 + Aux 6.
Remote DIM and Remote SOLO provide approximately 12 V DC when active and can be used to trigger compatible external monitor-controller functions.
Master meters
The master-meter pod includes:
- +18 V, -18 V and +48 V power-rail status indicators.
- Left and Right peak-reading main-output meters.
- OVER indication.
- 0 VU reference.
- Talkback microphone input.
- Solo indication.
0 VU = +4 dBu. When the connected converter is aligned to +18 dBu = 0 dBFS, the +18 dBu point represents digital full scale at that converter. The console's OVER indication illuminates at +20 dBu.
Headphone output
The headphone output on the master-meter pod is fed from ALT 3. Its listening level is therefore affected by the Main Monitor Volume and the ALT 3 trim.
Subgroup / Line 17–24 meters
Eight 20-segment meters show the signals associated with the subgroup / Line 17–24 section. The same +4 dBu nominal and +18 dBu converter-alignment reference applies.
