Warranty and Legacy Support
The original ASP8024 Operation Manual states that the console carried a one-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of despatch to the end user. It describes cover for faults caused by defective materials or workmanship, and excludes faults attributed to unauthorised modification, misuse, negligence, accident or other causes outside that cover.
This is retained as historical information from the original manual. It should not be used on its own to determine warranty eligibility today.
Current Audient warranty policy
Audient's current Limited Hardware Warranty is three years from the original purchase date for products purchased on or after 1 February 2021. Audient also states that the three-year warranty is retrospectively offered for products purchased after 1 February 2018, subject to the current warranty terms.
Proof of purchase is required. The current warranty applies to products purchased from an Authorised Audient Reseller and is not transferable to a second owner.
For the full current terms, see the Audient Warranty Policy.
If you need support or service
If you experience a fault, contact Audient Support first. Audient recommends troubleshooting with the Support team before arranging a return.
Where a product is confirmed faulty and covered by warranty, the current process routes warranty activity through the original dealer and the appropriate distributor or service partner for the market in which the product was purchased.
For older or out-of-warranty consoles, repair options and spare-parts availability may be limited. Audient Support can confirm the current options for a specific console and territory.
Legacy product support
Audient's End-of-Life Support Policy sets out the company's current framework after a product reaches the end of production:
- Technical support: 3 years after final production.
- Repairs and spare parts: up to 5 years, where stock remains available.
- Software/driver support: best effort, up to 5 years where applicable.
- Documentation access: indefinite.
The original ASP8024 manual does not establish the console's final production date, so this manual does not infer whether a specific original ASP8024 is currently within any particular legacy-service period. Contact Audient Support for the current status of an individual unit.
